ParentKindly - About Us

Hi, my name is Gina, the Founder of ParentKindly.com. I am a single mother of four children (Sam, Emma, Grace and Savannah and work full-time in the corporate world.  With a busy family, chaos and conflict were inevitable.  I identified patterns in what I call “parenting pet peeves” and created repeatable systems to reduce chaos and conflict occurrences. These solutions helped instill responsibility and accountability in my children, changed the way our family responded to conflict, and after repeated use became learned behavior.  The result - our home became a happier place to be.   

For many years I’ve been using these solutions.  They are simple, fun, and most importantly to me, they are tangible.  I say this because the tools I have to respond to my children were my mind and mouth and those didn’t always work as intended.  I lean on these tools to help me regulate and calm my emotions when I get frustrated with my children.  

I’ve thought about sharing these products with other families for 8 years. The pandemic and added stress I heard from families inspired me to take the leap.  In 2021, I started ParentKindly.com and joined forces with my cousin, Tara Black.

Tara is a 48-year-old mother to a beautiful boy, Kieran and wife to her husband Chris, and stepmother to Chris’s 22-year-old daughter, Ashley. 

OUR MISSION

ParentKindly is on a mission to spread the word about solutions that can help ease the stress of conflict and chaos in families, regulate emotions and reduce frustrating moments with children. Our products are based on empowering kids to make choices, understand consequences and provide tools that parents can pull from their “toolbelts” to “ParentKindly”.    

We offer products that can be purchased but we also offer free tools and tips that we share with our community.  We regularly bring in experts to talk about Parenting challenges and work to help one another become better role models and parents.  We hope you consider joining our community and us on our journey to help one another be the best parents we can be.
