Parenting Tools - change children's behavior in a fun and creative manner
Having kids organize their clothes has been a game-changer to my mornings and starting the week off right. I like it because I get my kids to be accountable and not everything is on my shoulders.
I should have had this years ago. I hate myself when I have to nag to get kids to do what they are supposed to. This helps set the rules and boundaries. After I remind them twice, three strikes their out and here comes the KidReminder. It's annoying to them, but a relief to me"
The clothes cubby not only helps my weeks but I also use it when I have to pack for trips. Kids select their clothing and place in the clothes cubby. I of course have to make some adjustments, but it is sure is nice now having structure and getting their help.
My kids argued until I'd lose it. What I discovered with the FightWrite is that it helped provide a way to calm things down and my kids didn't realized what they were even arguing about. It changed the way they argue now and they know I will use it. They think for themselves about the problem, how they contributed, how to solve and come to an agreement before I even have to bring out the tablet. Definitely changed arguments and quite honestly, there are less. Yay!
